FC Porto claimed a 3-1 win over Benfica in their Primeira Liga fixture at the Estádio do Dragão. The hosts opened the scoring in the 31st minute when Gabri Veiga found the net, with an assist from Eduardo Gabriel Aquino Cossa.

The match saw a major turning point in the 35th minute when Benfica's Clément Lenglet was shown a red card, leaving his side with ten men. Approaching the end of the first half in the 38th minute, both managers made changes as Hwang In-Beom replaced Gabri Veiga for Porto, while Alessandro Circati came on for Heorhii Sudakov for Benfica.

Benfica responded early in the second half when Alexander Bah scored in the 51st minute, assisted by Gianluca Prestianni. However, FC Porto regained control quickly. Victor Froholdt restored the two-goal advantage in the 54th minute with an assist from André Silva. Hwang In-Beom then added a third goal for the hosts in the 60th minute, once again assisted by André Silva.

Both teams utilized their substitutes and accumulated several yellow cards as the game progressed, but FC Porto comfortably preserved their 3-1 lead until the final whistle.
